Your new company
Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a 6- month short-term temporary contract.
Your new role
- Develops, implements, and evaluates people-related strategies, policies, and practices aligned with legislation and best practice.
- Leads end-to-end recruitment processes, manages employment contracts, and ensures compliance with government policies and legislation.
- Provides advice on job design, conducts position classifications and JDF reviews, and supports strategic workforce initiatives including diversity and inclusion.
- Manages grievances and breach processes, coordinates performance development, and supports change management and WHS initiatives.
- Leads Corporation-wide learning initiatives, manages the learning management system (ELMO), and develops training modules in collaboration with leadership.
- Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, participates in forums, and provides consultancy and advisory services.
- Upholds safety, compliance, and client service standards, supports emergency response efforts, and performs other duties as directed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a broad range of HR functions including workforce planning and developing and implementing innovative human resource strategies, policies, practices and systems.
- Experience in providing HR consultancy to staff based on knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices, trends and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to build, establish and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders to progress Corporation objectives.
- Highly developed report writing, research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to provide innovative HR solutions to issues.
Desirable
- Progress towards or possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in human resource management or industrial relations.
