Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s client FlexShape Lithuania is a EnergyTech company owned by the Danish energy multi-utility EWII. In Vilnius, the company develops software solutions for managing flexible energy assets, including automated energy planning, portfolio optimization, and trading of energy and ancillary services from batteries, wind turbines, PV panels, and electric vehicles (EVs).

FlexShape solutions utilize our own software platform, Aggregator-as-a-Service, which combines near real-time stream processing with advanced energy forecasting, aggregation, and optimization techniques based on Big Data, Industrial IoT, and Machine Learning/AI.

Mid-senior Full Stack Developer

This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in building a microservice-based solution for intelligent charging of EVs, where charging behavior is optimized to shift peak loads and to decrease environmental impact. Key responsibilities:

• Develop backend and a mobile APP for EV owners and utility operators.
• Maintain and extend integration with EV and charger gateways and their OEM APIs.
• Improve usability and implement customization for Danish users.
• Build integration with Aggregator-as-a-Service.
• Upgrade development and deployment environments and refine workflows.
• Provide ongoing maintenance of the operational instances, ensuring their smooth functionality.

For a GOOD match, you need:

• 3+ years (Mid-level) to 5+ years (Senior-level) of experience in developing full-stack applications.
• Good knowledge of Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, SqlAlchemy, Pytest
• Good knowledge of React Native, Javascript/Typescript, Jinja Template, Ember JS
• Experience developing and publishing mobile APPs
• Experience in using version control systems (primarily Git)
• Experience with Docker, Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform, GKE
• Strong written and spoken English skills (at least B2 level)

What additional skills will make you stand out:

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin, or C#) and key principles
• Experience developing web or single-page applications (SPA)
• Experience with CQRS, reactive streams, microservice architectures
• Experience integrating systems using 3rd-party APIs (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger, Google Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), gRPC, etc.)
• Prior experience with Scrum workflow
