Python Developer required to join a fast-scaling technology business backed by a global platform, currently looking to expand a specialist unit of engineers.

The Role

As part of this team, you’ll sit at the intersection of software engineering and quantitative modelling-ensuring machine learning models and algorithms are efficiently deployed, scaled, and maintained in production cloud environments.

You'll be contributing to a team where you can influence both product and technical decisions, working on complex challenges involving real-time data, personalisation engines, and distributed cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, cloud-native microservices using Python and AWS.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and automated testing systems.
• Work closely with engineers and data scientists to integrate and optimise machine learning models.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and system architecture improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a similar field (PhD in Mathematics is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Python
• 5+ years of experience working on high-performance, data-driven software systems.
• Experience with DevOps tooling (Docker, Jenkins, etc.) and modern cloud infrastructure
