What you'll contribute to the positionAs a Java/API Developer, you will use technical expertise to design and implement software solutions for our customers. You'll apply your passion for building clean, robust code to large-scale systems. With your well-developed interpersonal skills, you will be an active team member and contribute to delivering customer-focused, optimal quality business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical needs, and translate them into API designs and implementations.Architect, build, and maintain API integrations with external systems and services.Implement CI/CD practices to automate the deployment of API solutions and ensure seamless integration with AWS DevOps services such as AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeDeploy.Optimize and enhance existing API solutions to improve performance and scalability and cost-efficiency within AWS cloud infrastructure.Work closely with frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs with application interfaces.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Skill

Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.Proficiency in API design, development, and documentation using industry-standard tools and platforms.Strong programming skills in languages such as Java 17/21 version with Spring boot microservices framework Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.Experience with API management tools and platforms such as Swagger, Postman, Apigee, or MuleSoft.Experience in backend development using Java and microservices with Kafka, with a strong understanding of backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectureIn-depth understanding of API testing, versioning, and deployment strategies.Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWSExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
