Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of AXON Networks' mission-critical systems.

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud-based and on-premises environments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across networking, application, and database layers.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Enhance system observability through metrics, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Maintain high availability and reliability for critical networking systems by implementing failover mechanisms and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address critical incidents and ensure rapid resolution.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, routing, and load balancing.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


A plus if you have:

  • Experience in the networking industry or managing networking-specific applications.
  • Knowledge of TR-069 or similar networking protocols.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


Due to the on-site nature of this role, we are only considering candidates who currently reside in or near Irvine, CA.


Annual compensation: $80,000 - $140,000
