We are seeking three experienced IT Continuity & Cyber Resilience Specialists to support the uplift of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and cyber resilience capabilities across a high-impact program. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to critical ICT continuity planning, crisis management, and infrastructure resilience within a complex and security-conscious environment.
As a senior member of the technology function, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies that ensure ongoing business operations during disruption, integrating continuity best practices with cybersecurity risk frameworks, and advising key stakeholders on contingency planning.
You will collaborate across infrastructure, risk, security, and operations teams, while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to high-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver enterprise-level ICT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and System Contingency Plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify capability gaps relating to crisis response and service continuity.
- Align contingency planning with cyber security frameworks and risk management strategies.
- Lead tabletop exercises, test planning, post-incident reviews, and scenario simulations.
- Apply standards such as NIST 800-34, ISO 27001/22301, and ISM in developing resilience frameworks.
- Deliver best-practice continuity strategies for on-prem and cloud-based environments.
- Translate emerging threat intelligence into disaster recovery and response improvements.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum five years’ experience in cyber security and IT continuity planning.
- Previous experience within Australian Government or large enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing disaster recovery, crisis management, and continuity strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge across IT infrastructure, cloud environments, enterprise architecture, and cyber frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
