Game Designer

We are looking for talented and experienced Game Designers to create a new experience for mobile. This position will focus on the creative design of mobile content and you will be expected to wear many hats! The ideal candidate will have extensive proven experience in game design, a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, extensive knowledge of the games, and a longstanding passion for playing games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other designers to deliver top notch experiences
• Research subject matter relating to the design objective to ensure the authenticity of the experience
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI and Visual Design
• Design and iterate game feel and emotion

Qualifications:

• Practical understanding of the design process including level design, AI, controls, UI, etc.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ game design experience or equivalent in the gaming industry
• Minimum Degree/ diploma in a related field
• Can quickly learn and master new tools and implementation techniques
• Excellent communication – active listening skills, accessible verbal, and written presentation
• Self-directed within a team context
• Creative innovative, positive problem-solving perspective

Preferences:

• Experience in another game development discipline (Art, Engineering, Animation, UI, Sound, etc.)
• Mod community experience
• Fluent in Mandarin
