Be part of a global innovation team
In this position, you will join our SW Applications Team within the R&D Software & Electronics department, where you will collaborate with developers and fellow UX designers to design the future of digital solutions that improve workflows for doctors and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer with a flair for translating user needs into valuable and desirable experiences and UI features. You will design UI features for our Endoscopy Systems in collaboration with team members and cross functional stakeholders.
You will be part of a global team, reporting to the Applications Team manager in Ballerup, Denmark. This position will be based in our innovation hub in Augsburg.

Your Responsibilities
You understand target user needs and translate them into desirable concepts and eventual products/features. Typically, you will:
- Understand clinical challenges and user needs across several user groups to develop the best features, considering diverse use cases and archetypes
- Use your visual design skills to create attractive and intuitive interfaces that align with brand guidelines and meet user needs
- Collaborate with UX designers to turn wireframes and system/user flows into refined, high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Develop and maintain design systems
- Support software developers with design assets etc.
- Facilitate design reviews with stakeholders
- Document your work, e.g., GUI functional description
- Relevant education and preferably 5+ years of work experience
- Experience with the tasks, methods, and tools mentioned above
- Great communications skills (in English) for engaging with stakeholders and collaboration teams
- Strong ability to translate insights to concepts and final solutions
- Great graphical skills
- An analytical and structured mindset
- Knowledge of usability, Gestalt principles, design psychology, and cognitive science
- Experience in medical device/healthcare or other regulated industry is a plus
- You are passionate about your profession and ambitious in your efforts
- You are flexible in your approach and comfortable in an ever-changing environment
- You thrive in a non-hierarchical environment where you are expected to influence our journey
- You are self-organized, systematic, and detail oriented
- You excel at prioritizing and assessing the required maturity level for deliverables
