Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer with strong backend development experience and solid exposure to DevOps practices and Microsoft Azure. The role involves building robust APIs, working with containerized environments, and deploying scalable applications in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI/Django.
• Apply OOP and functional programming principles to design clean, modular code.
• Implement unit and integration tests using pytest.
• Handle data processing using pandas and NumPy.
• Use Docker for containerization and set up CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Azure).
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Write and optimize SQL queries; manage relational databases.
• Ensure code quality using linters and formatting tools.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.
• Strong grasp of software design, testing methodologies, and version control (Git).
• Proficiency in tools like pytest, pandas, NumPy, Docker, and Azure.
• Experience in CI/CD and modern DevOps workflows.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and cloud deployment practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools.
