For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Security Specialist

Location: Warsaw

Model work: 100% remote

Branch: telecommunications and IT services industry

Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)

Rate: up to 180 PLN/h net on B2B

Start date: ASAP / 1 month notice period

Working hours: Business hours

English: B2+/C1

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in information security and business continuity management.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or similar are advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Working on policies and processes related with cybersecurity and information security.
• Building now processes and aligning existing ones to changing security context (company is building own/internal capabilities in area of information security and cybersecurity)
• Sharing knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g. based on NIST, ISO or OWASP)

Project description:

• Strategic Advisory: Guide development of security strategies and support integration into business goals.
• ISMS & BCMS Oversight: Define, evaluate, and maintain policies aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct risk analyses, ensure compliance with ISO 27001 & ISO 22301.
• KPI Development: Define security KPIs and report performance to management.
• Training & Awareness: Lead programs to foster a security-conscious culture.
• Security Concept Leadership: Design and coordinate tailored security frameworks.
• Project Management: Execute security and continuity projects within scope and budget.
• Auditing: Perform internal/external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Ensure unified security efforts across teams.
• Decentralized Support: Empower local units with tools, resources, and guidance.
