Position Summary:

The Institutional Research Specialist will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting institutional data to support evidence-based planning, policy development, and operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including data collection, statistical analysis, report generation, and presentation of key findings to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and maintain institutional data from various sources.
• Conduct complex data analysis using statistical software, particularly Microsoft Excel, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely data to regulatory bodies such as the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), with a strong understanding of CHEDS and U-score data submission requirements.
• Design, administer, and analyze surveys using tools such as Explorance Blue to gather feedback from students, faculty, and staff.
• Develop and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Support strategic planning initiatives by providing relevant data and analytical insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in institutional research within higher education.
• Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Institutional Research within higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates.
• Language: Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated strong skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization).
• Proven experience with survey tools, specifically Explorance Blue.
• Solid understanding of CHEDS and U-score data submission processes for CAA and ADEK.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
