DevOps Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• 6–9 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Flosum and Salesforce DevOps.

• Proven experience working cross-functionally with product and application teams.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).

• Experience in financial services or enterprise-level environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working at RBC or within a Canadian banking environment.

• Familiarity with compliance and control frameworks in financial institutions.

Soft Skills:

Job Description

Role Overview: RBC is undergoing a major transformation to modernize its cloud platform and DevOps practices. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Flosum and Salesforce deployment automation. This role will play a critical part in bridging product and application teams, integrating new capabilities, and supporting the delivery of scalable, secure, and automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Integration & Development

• Collaborate with the product team to gather platform requirements and translate them into actionable DevOps solutions.

• Work closely with the application teams to understand user interactions and integrate new capabilities using Flosum.

• Support the design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Flosum and other DevOps tools. Cloud Modernization Support

• Contribute to RBC’s broader cloud transformation strategy, focusing on platform modernization and automation.

• Assist in the migration and optimization of Salesforce environments within Azure and AWS cloud ecosystems.

• Ensure compliance with RBC’s security, governance, and control standards throughout the deployment lifecycle. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between DevOps, product, and application teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.

• Provide technical guidance and support across the enterprise to promote DevOps best practices.
