The Senior Human Resources Officer (Projects) is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO) Learning and Development (L&D) Framework and the coordination and implementation of training programs and initiatives to support the capability and skills development of the OHO workforce.

In This Role You Will

  • Manage and coordinate staff engagement, consultation and facilitation to support the design and delivery of learning and development products and services to the OHO workforce, using contemporary project management methodologies.
  • In consultation with the Manager, Human Resources, develop the OHO Learning and Development (L&D) Framework and implement processes and systems to support the efficient delivery of L&D initiatives.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders, including seeking feedback, to inform the development of the L&D Framework and effective implementation of L&D initiatives.
  • Analyse L&D activities to ensure alignment with organisational values and goals, including any broader whole of government requirements
  • Ensure high-quality user support and communication to maximise use of the OHO Learning management system, ELMO.
  • Foster and encourage a workplace environment that is outcomes focused and supports a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Assist with other HR projects, initiatives and HR operational overflow as directed by the Manager, Human Resources.
