About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in a highly technical role. It is a bridging role as You will dive into server logs, optimize data pipelines, and align with BI and marketing teams to deliver near real-time data solutions. This is a detective-like role where you’ll take ownership, propose innovative solutions, and help shape processes in a flexible, modern tech environment. The team's modern tech stack for high-performance data engineering uses Python, Golang, and SQL for robust data querying. The team uses Airflow for workflow orchestration, Jitsu for data integration, ClickHouse for high-speed analytics, MinIO for object storage, Airbyte for data synchronization, and DBT for data transformation. The macOS-Linux development environment allows flexible and efficient workflows for near-real-time data processing.

What You’ll Do:

• Extract and process data to support BI reporting needs (40% of tasks).
• Address ad-hoc data requests when reports lack necessary data.
• Troubleshoot issues by reading and analyzing error logs.
• Integrate and manage traffic sources and third-party data for seamless data flow.
• Track conversions and align data with marketing objectives.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose optimizations.
• Take ownership of critical processes.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of similar experience;
• Proficiency in Python or Golang and SQL.
• Experience with data pipelines, log analysis, and third-party data integration.

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with Airflow, Jitsu, ClickHouse, MinIO, Airbyte, DBT, or Golang is a plus.

Salary: 3500–5000 Eur Gross (depending on experience and competencies)
