Network Test Engineer

We’re Hiring: Test Engineer – Network Validation & Automation | Remote across Poland

We are looking for a Test Engineer with deep expertise in network validation, test automation, and lab-based simulations. You will collaborate with enterprise and service provider clients across Europe to deliver advanced, reliable, and scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead validation of complex customer network designs, platforms, and software upgrades/downgrades
• Define and execute comprehensive test plans, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Build and emulate customer network environments in labs using traffic generators
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using the ROBOT Framework, Python, or similar tools
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing, providing root cause analysis and resolution
• Ensure test execution aligns with internal quality standards and promote delivery automation
• Participate in customer-facing engagements across the full test lifecycle

Role-Specific Focus:

• Validate technologies such as SD-WAN, SDA, Routing & Switching, Data Center, ACI, and NFV
• Work with traffic generation tools such as Ixia or Spirent for simulation and performance testing
• Implement and extend automation using Python, ROBOT Framework, Ansible, or Terraform
• Support continuous improvement of test methodologies and automation coverage
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and test design documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2x CCNP-level knowledge in areas such as Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider
• Strong technical expertise in at least two of the following domains: SDA, SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, ACI, DC, or SP
• Experience with network testing and automation frameworks
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
• Familiarity with traffic generators and lab setups
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills
• Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• CCIE certification (especially in Data Center) is a strong plus
• Project management experience is a plus
