🎯 Job Description

• You will serve as the lead expert responsible for the operational excellence of a large-scale Azure Virtual Data Center environment. This role will oversee the provisioning, configuration, monitoring, security, and optimization of cloud infrastructure components. You will will ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency while driving automation and best practices in cloud infrastructure operations.
• This role requires extensive technical expertise, hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, and excellent communication skills. You will also be responsible for driving innovation, minimizing risks, and optimizing the efficiency of the Data Center.

🎯 General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field,
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences,
• Deep Expertise in Azure IaaS: Strong experience in designing, deploying and managing IaaS-based workloads in Azure. This includes configuring Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs) and ExpressRoute,
• Cloud Security and Compliance Expertise: Experience in implementing cloud security frameworks, identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC), encryption standards and network isolation,
• Hybrid Cloud and Integration Skills: Proficiency in managing hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-prem with Azure and ensuring cross-platform compatibility during migration,
• Advanced Automation Skills (IaC): Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates and Bicep to automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management,
• Scripting and Automation Proficiency: Advanced skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python to automate workflows, script deployments and troubleshoot,
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Expertise in planning, configuring and managing disaster recovery strategies using Azure Site Recovery and other tools to ensure business continuity,
• Cloud Financial Management (FinOps): Knowledge of cost management strategies for optimizing cloud spend (reserved instances, cost tracking, rightsizing resources) and reporting,
• Incident and Change Management: Experience with incident and change management processes in cloud environments,
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is preferred,
• Experience with multi-cloud strategies (including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud) and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape are preferred,
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), is preferred,
• Strong proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) is preferred.
