The Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer with experience in software development using best practices and Object-Oriented PHP, with experience in Laravel and modern source code management approaches, and software development using open-source technologies.

We would like an enthusiastic person who is willing to learn and grow with the company. The right person must be able to work independently on their own projects and as part of a smaller team (pair programming).

A Quick Overview of Responsibilities

• Strong experience with PHP, Laravel and APIs
• Able to effectively review other developers' code and contribute with constructive feedback on code style, naming, and design decisions.
• Good knowledge of git workflows and comfortable using advanced git command-line tools (rebase, bisect).
• Good experience with MySQL.
• Front and backend end-user testing + browser and application testing.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with other backend and front-end developers.
• Help backend developers with coding and troubleshooting.
