The Team

We’re seeking an experienced UX Designer to join the Neo4j UX Design team in Malmö, Sweden. You will help craft exceptional user experiences for our graph database platform; a powerful tool used by developers, database administrators and data analysts to model and query complex connected data.

We believe in the power of collaboration and our product designers typically spend at least two days a week in the office for workshops and ideation sessions. The Role

• Work with the Neo4j Aura platform, introducing new GenAI features, and providing user experience for fully managed graph databases.
• Design flows and experiences for developers, database administrators, and data analysts.
• Contribute to high-level strategic design decisions alongside our product team.
• Conduct user research and usability testing with technical audiences.
• Enable collaboration within the UX Design team, through gaining and providing feedback from other designers, and continually raising our bar for quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and users, in order to understand the requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
• Advocate for a user-centered & data-informed design culture across the company and ensure UX consistency across tools and touchpoints.
  
  

You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in software UX design.
• A proven background in designing SaaS platforms, developer tools, or data-focused products.
• Can demonstrate strategic product thinking and vision.
• A natural communicator; you will need to collaborate with fellow designers across the company, to work with colleagues in product management and engineers, and also conduct user research with various internal and external users.
• Proven UX/UI experience through shipped products and continuous work
• Have experience with the end-to-end lifecycle of product design.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and globally distributed team.
• Comfortable with planning and conducting user research, and applying insights to product design.

• Familiarity with graph databases, data modeling, or backend systems, would be a great advantage.
• Have experience contributing to design systems.
