For our Transformers Business Unit we are looking for Global Product Care Manager Insulation and Components (f/m/d) to join our international and diverse team.

Your Responsibilities

  • As Global Product Care Manager for Insulation and Components own the portfolio deployment and product care of transformer Insulation Components globally, being responsible of technical support.
  • Ensure maintenance of the drawings/Assemblies and technical documents, including relevant technical and or test reports; support the Hubs in highly detailed technical discussions, workshop, support requests such as complex customizations (seismic verifications, thermal and dielectric simulations etc…), calculations/design review and similar, qualification of alternative suppliers for key components, by leverage team competencies.
  • Own responsibility to take technical decisions/maintenance of the content of configurators/masters of configuration rules of configurable products.
  • Support Transfer of Technology with prompt transfer of technical documentation and eventual trainings on design of products
  • Develop people in global product care organization to ensure skill-will criteria is met and competencies continuously improve.
  • Dupport in defining, development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve processes for operational enhancements while maintaining quality standards.
  • Feed the global management with technical feedback as well as improvement proposals focused on cost reduction, continuous improvement in subsequent activities in production.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical, Electrical engineering or relevant science field) from an accredited university. A Master degree is a plus. Alternatively, strong experience in Electrical industry and related support activities
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in products such as bushings, tap changers, insulation material, with solid background; knowledge of Hitachi Energy insulation portfolio, design experience is considered a plus.
  • Strong proven experience of managing in a matrixed organization with clear examples and results.
  • Leadership with good communication skills in oral and written English, with colleagues from multi-countries. Experience in managing international scope in global organizations.
  • Skills in simulation, calculation, definition of qualification/test plan are considered valuable assets.
