About the Role

System Analyst is responsible for leading a team of developers, managing the system development, implementation, and support of Cards related applications on the mainframe platform.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level.
• Work closely with business users in all change requests, analyze and review enhancements for compatibility and ad.
• Lead a project & change request team to implement solutions that meet business requirements and are in alignment with organization's business objectives.
• Work with vendor on estimations, high level solution, estimations and end to end functional deliveries.
• Hands on manager to guide development team on functional and technical issues.
• Responsible for modifying existing programs when required.
• Ensure project documentation is done up in accordance to bank standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve application and system functional issues.
• Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process to support quality deliverables.
• Execute tasks related to project/change request/maintenance request.
• Support SIT and UAT issues and queries.
• Work with SA on the SIT and UAT defects to triage and resolve.
• Work with business on the parameter setup and provide guidance.
• Recommend and execute improvements to process.
• Partner with testing team to review the test strategy and brief on Business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug and provide production system support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Have at least a minimum of 8+ years of System Analysis work and equivalent Cards Functional Domain experience, cards payment networks, preferably with at least 8+ years of working experiences in Cardlink/Vision Plus.

Required Skills:

• You must be the experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
• You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces.
• For new system build-up, you may need to provide environment support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work is adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that are fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

Preferred Skills:

• In-depth technical skills in CICS COBOL, COBOL batch, JCLs, Easytrieve, VSAM, JCL, OPC and other mainframe utilities.
• Hands on middleware systems - Linux/Unix.
• Good communication skills.
