Chief Systems Engineer – Data Management & Platform

The Roads and Transport Authority is seeking a highly skilled Chief Systems Engineer – Data Management & Platform to join our Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Center. The role will focus on building and optimizing AI/ML platforms, ensuring robust data management, and driving innovation in AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models, algorithms, and applications for actionable insights and predictions.
• Build, deploy, and optimize MLOps pipelines and inference systems for production environments.
• Implement Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Generative AI techniques.
• Define and manage enterprise data architecture, governance, and pipelines to ensure AI-ready data.
• Ensure compliance with information security, data protection, and ethical AI practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms and services.
• Monitor, optimize, and retrain AI/ML models to manage performance, bias, and drift over time.

Requirements:

Years of Experience

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, deployment, and optimization.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.

Skills

• Proven expertise in AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, Smart Systems, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and tools for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Experience in data pipelines, data governance, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, collaboration, and teamwork.
