Equity Derivatives Specialist, Business Development

Reporting to: Executive Director, Business Development (Derivatives)

We’re looking for a high-energy, client-focused Equity Derivatives Specialist to strengthen our equity derivatives franchise and accelerate adoption of innovative, incubation-stage products. You’ll work with leading buy-side and sell-side market participants, building strategic relationships and delivering competitive market positioning for SGX.

What You’ll Do

• Lead business development initiatives to capture new opportunities and expand our market/product ecosystem.
• Shape SGX’s target market positioning, driving adoption of SGX equity products.
• Leverage deep industry knowledge to: (a) Analyse market trends and identify opportunities (b) Develop actionable sales strategies and campaigns (c) Partner with clients to innovate and enhance product competitiveness.
• Deliver customised, high-impact pitches and marketing campaigns in collaboration with product and sales teams.
• Support go-to-market strategies for targeted products, including marketing materials, tradeshows, and promotional activities.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in the finance industry, ideally with an equity derivatives background.
• Strong network with front-office professionals and management in equity derivatives across Asia and/or Europe.
• In-depth understanding of financial industry standards, best practices, and institutional client trends.
• Proven track record in meeting ambitious targets in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
