McDonald’s is the largest restaurant chain in the world and also striving to be the most people-oriented enterprise around the globe. There are currently 123 McDonald’s restaurants in Belgium, run by 24 independent entrepreneurs (Franchisees).

As we are launching a new career website for both HQ and restaurants, SuccessFactors and other operational projects, we are looking for a Talent Attraction and HR Project expert to reinforce the People team at McDonald’s Restaurants Belgium on an ad-interim basis.

About The Assignment

In this exciting role you are part of the People team at McDonald’s Belgium HQ and you will report into the HR Business Partner. This assignment will focus on the A-Z implementation of several projects related to employer branding, recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.

Key projects will include:

• Co-leading the deployment of a Recruitment and ATS site in the Belgian market with the support of the Global Team. This includes among other things setting up content strategies & plan, creating training plans, providing hands-on L2 support to all deploying restaurants, …
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, direct search, screening, interviewing for HQ.
• Flexibility and interest to lean into various HR activities depending on the day-to-day needs.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures in line with Belgian labor law and company standards.
  
  
  
  

About You Now

To be able to thrive in this assignment, we believe you need to master:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management / (Social) Law or similar;
• Extensive Recruitment and Employer Branding expertise;
• Available for an assignment at least 3 days/week in the period October- January;
• Fluency in Dutch and a good level in French and English;
• A well-organized and pragmatic approach and professional attitude at all times;
• Hands-on mindset combined with strategic proficiency;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• The talent to thrive as part of a team while functioning autonomously at the same time;
• Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher).
