Test Engineer – Automotive Systems

Are you a hands-on engineer passionate about testing, analysis, and problem-solving within the automotive industry? We are currently looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on evaluating and validating complex components and systems across a variety of automotive projects. ✅ Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute tests on individual components and complete systems, including but not limited to Urea Dosing Systems, Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EAT), Fuel Injection Systems, and Cooling Systems.
• Plan, set up, and perform tests from start to finish, analyze results, and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and operate test rigs, perform mechanical work, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and aftermarket, to ensure systems meet all required specifications.
• Apply your analytical skills to improve test methodologies and provide insights into product development.
• Contribute to the overall system validation process, including full-vehicle testing, to ensure comprehensive testing of various vehicle components and systems.
  
  

🧩 We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• Experience in testing and validation within the automotive industry, particularly with systems like Urea Dosing Systems, Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EAT), Fuel Injection Systems, and Cooling Systems.
• Practical experience in building and using test rigs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and understand deviations.
• Interest in both control systems and mechanical design.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (clear communication is key).
• Structured, methodical, and motivated to support development based on physical principles.
  
  

🔧 Desirable:

• Experience with Matlab and data analysis.
• Background in design engineering or mechanical testing.
• Familiarity with mechatronic systems, including electronics, mechanics, and control systems.
• Experience with full-vehicle testing and validation processes.
