Network Engineer

• We are currently seeking a Consulting Engineer for a B2B contract (contrat commercial indépendant)

This is a hybrid role in Paris (minimum 2 days per week in the Paris office) with an initial 6-month duration and strong potential for renewal.

Role Overview

As a Consulting Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, designing, implementing, and optimising advanced networking solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects, resolve complex issues, and align technical deliverables with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology design, implementation, and optimisation for customer projects
• Plan, design, configure, and diagnose advanced networking solutions
• Support presales activities and translate business requirements into solution designs
• Build and use lab environments to validate designs and resolve complex issues
• Deliver documentation, knowledge transfer sessions, and customer training
• Drive technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services

Role-Specific Focus

• Collaborate on strategy, deployment, and optimisation of networking services and solutions
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, implementation plans, and change management documents
• Troubleshoot and configure solutions using advanced tools and software skills
• Act as a focal point for problem resolution during engagements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Routing & Switching expertise
• Expertise in SDA (must), ISE, Wi-Fi, Catalyst Center
• Proven experience designing solutions in these domains
• BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent) + 5-8 years’ relevant experience (Advanced degree preferred)
• French and English mandatory; Spanish or Italian a plus
• CCIE certification is nice to have
