Join their dynamic team as a Junior Project Manager, where you’ll support the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects.


Role Overview


As a Junior Project Manager specializing in network infrastructure, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the planning, execution, and tracking of projects related to network upgrades, installations, and optimization efforts. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring network infrastructure projects are delivered on time and within scope, while honing your project management skills.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in planning and scheduling network infrastructure projects, including LAN/WAN upgrades, wireless implementations, and data center installations
  • Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure technical milestones are met
  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution
  • Document project requirements, risks, and actions; provide regular project status updates
  • Support the resolution of project-related issues and escalate as needed to the Senior Project Manager
  • Assist with procurement and resource allocation for network infrastructure components
  • Ensure adherence to network standards, security protocols, and company guidelines



Qualifications and Skills


  • 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role, preferably within IT or network infrastructure projects
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure concepts (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, etc.)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and network infrastructure terminology
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams



Preferred Qualifications


  • Hands-on experience in network infrastructure projects is a plus
  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation) is desirable
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and protocols is advantageous
