The Opportunity

We’re supporting a client in Ghent who is looking for an AI Engineer to play a central role in shaping and delivering AI-driven solutions. You’ll be working with the Microsoft AI stack, building proof-of-concepts, and turning them into production-ready applications. This is an independent, hands-on position — you’ll have room to explore, test, and guide best practices for AI within the business.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using tools like Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services
• Connect AI models with Microsoft Fabric and integrate them into data pipelines
• Create prototypes and scale them into enterprise-grade solutions
• Identify new opportunities for AI to improve business processes
• Stay ahead of emerging Microsoft AI features and share insights with the team
• Produce clear documentation and reusable tools for future projects

What You Bring

• Strong foundation in AI engineering, ideally with Microsoft AI technologies
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data workflows
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (or willingness to learn)
• Self-starter mentality, curiosity, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Language skills: English plus either French or Dutch
