IT PROJECT MANAGER - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Dark Light is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support one of our clients with a significant financial transformation initiative. This role is central to modernizing and streamlining their processes and tools within the finance department to achieve greater efficiency.

Tasks

• Oversee and manage one or multiple projects to ensure successful delivery of anticipated results.
• Guide project teams from the conceptual phase through to execution, including obtaining necessary approvals, managing demands, establishing support structures, and maintaining service levels as specified by the business.
• Maintain team alignment with business goals regarding scope, scheduling, budgeting, and quality.
• Adapt and manage project changes as they arise.
• Supervise various testing phases and user acceptance procedures, ensuring smooth coordination.
• Ensure all project activities comply with set standards and methodologies established by IT Governance.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks effectively.
• Ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule, consistently monitoring and reporting progress.
• Facilitate communication with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, preparing and presenting reports and updates to senior management.
  
  
  

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT and business sectors.
• Proficiency in various project management methodologies and possession of a Project Management Certification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Strong understanding of business principles in IT and retail industries.
• In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Native-level proficiency in Dutch or French, with professional fluency in English.
