Senior QA/QC Engineer

📍 Location: On-site (Oman)

💰 Salary: $4,000 USD/month*

We are looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation, API testing, performance testing, and security testing using industry-leading tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Postman, JMeter, and OWASP. This role requires strong leadership, mentoring, and training capabilities to support and develop junior testers, including fresh graduates.

Key Responsibilities

1- Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, and other automation frameworks. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

2- API Testing: Conduct API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, and ensure seamless integration across systems.

3- Performance Testing: Optimize application performance through testing with JMeter, Gatling, and other tools.

4- Security Testing: Identify vulnerabilities and improve security using OWASP, Burp Suite, and industry best practices.

5- Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior testers, including fresh graduates, to enhance QA capabilities.

6- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions on quality assurance best practices and automation strategies.

7- Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Work closely with developers and business teams to identify and resolve software quality issues.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a Leadership role in QA/QC engineering.
• Strong expertise in Test Automation (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience in API Testing (Postman, SOAP UI) and Performance Testing (JMeter, Gatling).
• Knowledge of Security Testing (OWASP, Burp Suite).
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train teams at all levels.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester
• Certified Test Automation Engineer (CTAE)
