Marketing Automation & Data Specialist
Sydney CBD | 12 Month Contract
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Professional to join a leading global fintech, supporting the APAC Marketing Automation Team. Our trusted client of over 12 years is renowned for their innovative cloud-based technology and market-leading products, and they’re looking for their next data guru to join their high-performing team.
This hands-on role offers the perfect mix of data, analytics, operations, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll manage and prepare the data that powers multichannel campaigns - building pipelines and ensuring accuracy to engage customers and leads. You’ll gain broad exposure to campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-product experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Use SQL to extract, prepare, and validate data for multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Translate campaign use cases into data onboarding requirements, identifying relevant data sources and segmentation logic
- Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery into platforms like Eloqua or Salesforce
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to maintain campaign audience integrity
- Document data dictionaries, runbooks, and workflows to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with local and global teams to deliver projects and support campaign execution
What we’re looking for
- Strong SQL skills (essential; channel experience can be learnt on the job)
- Background in marketing data or marketing operations preferred (B2B experience a plus)
- Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail, data quality, and process
