Senior UX/UI Designer

As a Senior User Experience Designer in the Baltics, you will work at both operational and strategic levels. You will design and refine digital service experiences in areas like digital sales, self-service, and enterprise systems to position If as the most caring insurance company. Alongside delivering high-quality design work, you will shape and steer the design direction in the Baltic market, working closely with the Senior UI Designer, UX Researcher, and a Nordic–Baltic design community of 17 designers. You’ll have the freedom to drive your own strategic ideas, with the support of Nordic UX leadership, and play a central role in maturing our design practice in the region.

What are you going to do?

• Act as a confident user advocate in negotiations with business stakeholders, ensuring user needs shape decision-making
• Lead and deliver strategic design initiatives that strengthen design maturity in the Baltics
• Collaborate with UX and UI peers across the Nordic–Baltic region to align design direction and share best practices
• Translate research insights and data into impactful design concepts, guiding them from exploration to delivery
• Plan and conduct usability tests, synthesizing findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Ensure a consistent, accessible, and brand-aligned visual voice across If’s digital ecosystem

What do we expect from you?

• Proven experience working in agile environments
• Strong knowledge of UX and service design processes to identify user needs and mental models
• Track record in designing e-commerce and self-service systems
• Experience using data analytics to inform and measure design outcomes
• Skilled in a variety of user research methods and toolsProficiency in Figma, Miro, and other collaboration tools
• Strong mobile app design expertise
• Excellent communication skills (especially in English) - able to clearly articulate complex ideas, influence stakeholders, and build alignment
• A portfolio demonstrating both hands-on UX/UI work and strategic design impact
