iOS Developer (Swift)

Hayward Hawk are currently recruiting for a skilled and passionate iOS Developer to join our clients growing team, focusing exclusively on our native iOS app built in Swift.

You’ll play a key role in developing new features, resolving issues, and driving performance improvements across the product.

The Role:

• Troubleshooting and resolving bugs or performance issues
• Collaborating closely with fellow developers on joint tickets
• Supporting and resolving user-reported issues
• Reviewing and testing code from peers with constructive feedback
• Writing unit and automated tests to ensure high code quality
• Participating in regular team planning and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

Essentials:

• 3+ years of hands-on iOS development experience
• A strong understanding of writing clean, maintainable, and reusable Swift code
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Passion for mobile development and attention to detail
• Great team communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with PHP or MySQL (especially for backend API integrations) - desired
• Familiarity with Firebase, especially Push Notifications and Crashlytics - desired
• Exposure to Android/Kotlin development - desired
• Experience writing unit and automated tests - desired
