Software Engineer

You’ll play a key role in improving data accessibility and performance across their systems through expert-level query building, indexing strategies, and backend development. If you love working with data and know how to make SQL fly, this is your chance to make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Write efficient, scalable SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and product features
• Design and implement indexing strategies to improve query performance across large datasets
• Collaborate on backend services using NestJS and NodeJS
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data access needs and deliver optimised solutions
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Support and maintain responsive frontend components (Angular) as needed
• Promote clean code, performance, and scalability across systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong SQL experience, with proven ability to write complex queries and optimise database performance
• Experience with relational databases and indexing techniques
• Solid backend development skills with NodeJS, ideally with NestJS or a willingness to learn it
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like Angular and JavaScript
• A strong grasp of API integrations and backend service architecture
• Passion for data structure, query efficiency, and system performance
• Experience with TypeScript and cloud platforms like Azure

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Previous work on SaaS platforms or data-heavy applications
