We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client in Zurich. This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion standardization and automation across infrastructure and application workflows
- Lead the onboarding of applications to a Cloud Native Stack
- Drive the integration of teams onto common platforms, especially around Observability
- Use your experience with microservices and distributed systems to shape scalable and resilient environments
Requirements:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Solid scripting skill with Bash and proficient working in Linux Environments
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes and distributed systems and with AKS
- Development background in at least one language, for example java, python or scala
- Proven architectural skills, including the ability to capture non-functional requirements and document system designs
- Familiarity with messaging and communication stacks like Kafka
- Experience with Observability tools such as Grafana, ElasticSearch or OpenTelemetry
