Cloud Operations Support

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Specialist to join our team. The Cloud Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to support our cloud environment, automate processes, and deliver high-performance cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
Manage and optimize cloud environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Work with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and recommend best practices.
Implement and maintain cloud security policies and procedures, including access control, data protection, and incident response.
Automate deployment and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitor cloud usage, optimize costs, and provide cost-saving recommendations.
Support development and operations teams in deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and high availability plans are in place and tested.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cloud migration strategies and support cloud-native application development.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with networking and virtual private cloud (VPC) concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hybrid cloud solutions.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
Understanding of DevOps practices and experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
