Delta-V Engineer - Ireland, North Dublin - 12 Months Initial Contract

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Delta-V Engineer.
Responsibilities
This technical leadership role will focus primarily on the use of DeltaV systems used in the production of key products in all three areas of manufacturing:

Responsibilities
This technical leadership role will focus primarily on the use of DeltaV systems used in the production of key products in all three areas of manufacturing:
- Biological/Sterile
- Chemical
- Pharmaceutical
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Supervisory Control Systems (SCADA)
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Process Data Management Systems
- Process Data Analytics Systems
- IT Integration Services
- An engineering degree or comparable engineering/ manufacturing experience.
- Experience and accomplishments in the implementation of DeltaV manufacturing automation systems.
- Clear understanding of all aspects of DeltaV architecture. Capability to articulate different architectures including but not limited to virtual servers, operator interface practices, code development best practices, controllers and I/O.
- Experience building technology road maps and working with business architects to deliver the proper technical solutions to the business.
- Understanding of industrial cyber-security best practices for ICS systems. Able to work alongside corporate security professionals to develop and constantly evolve security standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to participate in global teams and having flexibility to support global time zones
- Ability to lead teams, bringing people together to achieve a common goal of a deliverable
- Ability to become influential in his/her area demonstrated by suitable technical degrees and/or experience.
- Ability to work with business customers in a highly dynamic environment.
- High personal integrity, credibility, and energy.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and application systems development.
