HR Coordinator | Mullingar | Full-Time

My client, a leading player in the food manufacturing sector, is seeking a proactive and organised HR Coordinator to join their busy Group HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the full HR lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, policy development, and HR systems administration. You will work closely with managers across the business to deliver an ambitious and people-focused agenda.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering strong career progression, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a real impact on HR processes and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full people management process, including recruitment, onboarding, contract preparation, and leaver administration.
  • Manage recruitment administration — job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, medicals, and reference checks.
  • Administer HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) processes including employee onboarding, personal detail updates, and annual leave tracking.
  • Work with the HR team to enhance onboarding processes, materials, and resources.
  • Arrange logistics for training programmes and HR-related meetings.
  • Review HR policies to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contribute to updating and improving the Employee Handbook.
  • Assist with talent and performance management reporting.
  • Support wellbeing, welfare, and employee engagement events.
  • Collaborate with the Early Careers team on graduate, apprentice, and student programmes.
  • Maintain and update the Employee Portal (SharePoint) for company-wide communications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR queries, arranging on-site meetings where required.
  • Assist the HR team with ongoing projects to deliver the company’s people strategy.

Requirements

  • Degree or CIPD qualification in HR (or working towards).
  • Experience in a fast-paced HR environment is an advantage.
  • IT proficient with strong systems and software skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented, and improvement-focused mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable challenging processes to drive improvements.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Pension scheme
  • Work-from-home every Friday
  • Flexible working hours (normally 9:00am–5:30pm)
