We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional of Information & Cyber Security to lead our cyber security initiatives and safeguard our digital assets. He will play a critical role in developing and implementing our cybersecurity strategy to protect Jaquar Group from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
· Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with Jaquar Group's business objectives.
- Define cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
· Security Operations:
- Oversee the operation of all cybersecurity systems and applications, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, etc.
- Monitor for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur. Lead incident response activities and conduct post-incident reviews.
· Risk Management:
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks to Jaquar Group's IT infrastructure, data, and intellectual property.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize vulnerabilities and threats.
· Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team. Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
· Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, compliance, and business units to integrate cybersecurity into all aspects of Jaquar Group's operations.
- Communicate cybersecurity risks and strategies effectively to executive management and board members.
· Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to enhance Jaquar Group's cybersecurity posture.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to cybersecurity standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience (13+ years) in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, preferably within a large multinational organization.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful cybersecurity teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, and able to adapt messaging to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
