A leading construction technology provider is seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing Sydney-based team.

Role Overview

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will take ownership of security, automation, and infrastructure practices within an Azure environment. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and platform teams, this role will influence architectural direction, improve system reliability, and embed secure-by-design principles across the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and optimising CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Developing and maintaining secure, scalable IaC using Bicep.
• Implementing observability strategies for monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Leading Site Reliability Engineering practices including SLAs, SLOs, incident management, and post-mortems.
• Aligning platform architecture with modern DevSecOps principles.
• Providing mentorship and promoting best practice across engineering teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled engineer with a proven track record in DevOps, SRE, or platform roles, particularly within Microsoft technologies.

Essential skills and experience:

• 10+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering.
• Deep technical expertise in Azure and .NET environments.
• Strong architectural capabilities in building secure, modular, and scalable systems.
• Demonstrated experience with automation, cloud-native tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and influence others.
• Passion for security, continuous improvement, and enhancing developer experience.
