Palo Alto Firewall Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise firewall solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and related security technologies, ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our network infrastructure.

• Design, deploy, and configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls for enterprise and multi-site environments.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles, and user authentication integrations.
• Perform upgrades, patching, and high-availability (HA) configurations.
• Implement GlobalProtect VPN for secure remote access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot firewall performance, connectivity issues, and security events.
• Perform security assessments and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Respond to security incidents and participate in root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to design secure network architectures.
• Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change records.

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or PCNSA certification.
• Experience integrating Palo Alto with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Basic knowledge of automation (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
• Experience in cloud firewall deployments (Prisma Access, VM-Series in AWS/Azure/GCP).
