This role allows for direct impact on the reliability and performance of our customers' applications.

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer & Team Captain who is passionate about building robust APIs and intuitive web applications that give us and our customer unprecedented control over these agents. The Team Captain part of the role sees a team of 5 strong engineers being led and enabled by a passionate, driven senior engineer.

Your role as a Fullstack Engineer

  • Design and develop scalable backend services in Java to manage millions of OneAgent processes
  • Build modern, responsive frontend apps using React to visualize and control agent behavior
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers across many different locations to deliver high-impact features
  • Tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, performance, and data visualization
  •  Actively participate in code reviews, learn from others and share your knowledge
  • Develop your skillset and help mentor other team members

Your role as Team Captain

  • Leading an engineering team
  • Mentoring and growing your team
  • Empowering them to take on more responsibilities
  • Conducting 1-2-1s giving meaningful feedback to support and develop staff careers
  • Working closely with the team’s product owner ensuring features are prioritised
  • Supporting recruitment processes including leading technical interviews
  • Supporting leadership with input for performance management and goal setting
  • Advocating Dynatrace’s culture, promoting its values and principles within the team

What Will Help You Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in Fullstack development with strong skills in Java and React & Typescript
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience successfully leading an engineering team including 1-2-1s, goal setting and similar
  • Experience with large-scale systems and performance optimization
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of delivering on Java / React Fullstack product features
  • A proactive and enabling mindset and a passion for clean, extensible and maintainable code
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation Data

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.   
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
