Do you have experience in multi-physics modelling, image processing, machine learning, physics-informed neural networks or mathematical/statistical modelling connected to soft materials? Do you enjoy working in projects that focus on demand-driven technology development linked to societal and industrial challenges? Then we are looking for you, a researcher in advanced modelling of soft materials for our team in Gothenburg.
About Us
Product Design at RISE consists of more than twenty experts in technology and design of foods and other soft, biobased materials. We offer an attractive workplace in a highly multidisciplinary environment where we conduct state-of-the-art research combining imaging and characterisation techniques, soft materials science, image processing, statistical and mathematical modelling, machine learning, and computational materials science to design future’s food and soft materials.
About The Role
The role as researcher includes generating, managing and conducting projects together with clients and public partners with focus on:
The placement for this position is Gothenburg.
Who are you?
You like challenges and working together with colleagues and external partners both in academia and industry. You have an interest in scientifically and dynamically searching for solutions to complex questions, usually together with a team. You are well-organised, and broad in your modelling capabilities, building your models on strong knowledge of the fundamental principles behind the involved equations and not afraid to move to new areas depending on the needs.
Requirements:
You are welcome to submit your application!
If the above sounds appealing, you are welcome to apply for the position. For questions, please contact Unit Manager Lina Svanberg +46 10 516 66 79.
