Lead Android Software Engineer

In this project, we are supporting a high-impact initiative to build and evolve native mobile applications for iOS and Android for a platform that helps companies gather real-time feedback from users to improve customer experiences and product decisions.

IF YOU ARE

• A specialist with an 6-year experience as an Android Engineer, and a portfolio of deployed Android apps
• Highly proficient in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK and Android Studio, Jetpack Compose and Jetpack Navigation
• Working with Android lifecycle management, UI principles, and best practices
• Experienced with: Native libraries (e.g., Camera APIs)
• Accustomed to integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time communication
• Skilled in automated testing frameworks: JUnit, Compose UI Testing
• Versed in performance tuning and memory optimization
• Good at secure and scalable mobile architectures
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and mobile DevOps practices
• Comfortable working in agile environments with version control (e.g., Git)
• A strong communicator and mentor, able to guide junior developers
• A fluent English speaker

• Design and build scalable and performant native Android applications
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define Android solutions
• Lead the architecture and implementation of complex features and system components
• Ensure best practices around code quality, testability, and documentation
• Contribute to release pipelines, CI/CD, and dependency strategies
• Evaluate and adopt new Android SDKs, frameworks, and platform updates
• Ensure high performance, security, and maintainability across the app
