DevOps Release Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Migrate Salt scripts to Ansible, including creating Ansible playbooks and inventories.
• Maintain and support middleware, including Hadoop, Cassandra, Java, and .NET.
• Assist with server configuration and understand GPOs and other OS-level configurations.
• Engage with enterprise engineers to resolve pipeline issues.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, including creating and maintaining YAML files.

Required Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Salt for configuration management.
• Ability to read and write Ansible playbooks and translate Salt scripts to Ansible.
• Understanding of middleware technologies and server configurations.
• Technical expertise in OS layers and middleware support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Red Hat, Azure, or other relevant certifications (though certifications are not mandatory).
• Strong background in system administration or development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with enterprise engineers and other stakeholders.
