About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and CI/CD to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimising cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on container orchestration, automation, and cloud networking. This role requires active SC Clearance, used within the last 12 months.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimise Kubernetes clusters (EKS), managing workloads, networking, and security policies.
  • Utilise Helm to package and deploy applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git, ensuring efficient deployment of applications.
  • Manage VPC networking, Route 53 DNS configurations, and AWS security best practices.
  • Work with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, ensuring robust infrastructure performance.
  • Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker within Kubernetes environments.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams, providing hands-on support and expertise.
