Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a motivated Network Engineer/Architect to strengthen their Infrastructure Solutions department. You’ll join a specialised Network team responsible for designing, implementing, and securing network environments across both office and industrial sites worldwide. With more than 60 remote locations and a rapidly expanding international footprint, this role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects in a highly dynamic setting.

As a Network Engineer/Architect, you’ll play a key role in both operational support and project delivery. Your work will span the full lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation, and documentation - covering upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping network architecture in alignment with global standards.
• Delivering wired, wireless, and WAN connectivity solutions to production sites.
• Managing integration projects resulting from organizational growth and acquisitions.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external providers on technical implementations, including structured cabling.
• Leading initiatives to introduce cutting-edge technologies and strengthen security and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through relevant experience).
• Significant experience in a comparable role within a global, multi-site environment—preferably in an industrial or manufacturing context.
• Proven expertise in wired and wireless networking: analysis, design, installation, configuration, security, and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, including:
• L2/L3 switching (Cisco Catalyst series)
• Data Center Networking (SDN experience is a plus)
• Wireless (Cisco WLC, access points)
• Firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto incl. Prisma)
• Routing, VPN, Cisco Meraki, Viptela, Palo Alto SD-WAN
• Bonus skills: Cisco ISE, DNA, ACI, CyberVision, Infoblox DNS.
