Senior Java Software Engineer

An opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join the Technology team of one of the world’s leading investment banks.

This team builds and supports large-scale platforms used for regulatory reporting across Europe.

The role is based in Dublin with hybrid working – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

About Your New Job

• Lead the design and development of key tech solutions used across the EMEA
• Collaborate with global teams to modernise architecture and streamline delivery processes
• Guide the technical approach, mentor other engineers, and ensure best practice across the SDLC
• Work with a mix of backend, data, and frontend technologies across a complex enterprise stack
• Help shape the engineering toolset and contribute to frameworks and reusable components
• Take ownership of delivery within an Agile setup, with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and automation

What Skills You Need

• 6+ years of software development experience, ideally in enterprise or financial services environments
• Strong Java and PL/SQL development experience
