Equipment Development Engineer (Software Engineer)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance of complex software production systems. (machine control\PLC, test programs, image processing, automation, process control and process monitoring)
• Review and evaluate specifications and requirements of software and system requirements, together with the internal development and production departments.
• Improve existing system in the meaning of quality, functionality and performance.
• Optimization of production systems up to series production readiness.
• Review system proposal covering control and process sequence.
• Interface between R&D Engineers and Production.
• Ensure quality of code through code reviews and best practices.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Software /Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or comparable qualification.
• Experience in software development in C\C++ or comparable programming language.
• Professional and industry experience in the field of automation as well as knowledge of technical commissioning of production systems and software architecture is an advantage, committed fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Knowledge of modern development tools. (Jira, Git, Visual Studio Code)
• Systematic and structured way of thinking and working.
• Assertiveness and organizational talent.
• Comfortable to work on machines. Experience in interfacing with hardware e.g. sensors, actuators, measurement equipment with digital and analog I/O modules, PLC, PC, RS232, Ethernet, etc. will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and good team player.
