About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS deployments and IAM solutions to join our client in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for designing and deploying complex cloud infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure identity management integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage AWS-based infrastructure with focus on:
• Network design (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls).
• Database deployments (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora).
• Container runtimes (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch.
• Integrate and maintain IAM solutions:
• Authentication, authorization, and access control.
• One Identity data model customization and connector development.
• CyberArk and privileged access management solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders for requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.
• Provide technical support and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable environments.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of proven DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud deployments (networking, DB, serverless, containers).
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Excellent knowledge of Docker & container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting (CloudWatch).
• Deep understanding of IAM concepts (auth, RBAC, access control).
• Practical knowledge of One Identity (data model customization, connectors).
• Familiarity with CyberArk or other IAM platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices in AWS.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum working environments.
