IT Project Manager (EDI)

Rate: €500-€540 per day (8 hours)

Duration: 6 months initially, view to extend

Location: Breda 3 days per week, remote 2 day

Project Manager – EDI & Supply Chain

We are looking for a freelance IT Project Manager with solid experience in EDI systems and Supply Chain or Order Management processes. This is a hands-on, mid-level role ideal for someone who can confidently manage cross-functional projects from planning through execution, particularly those involving electronic data interchange and supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver EDI-related projects with a focus on supply chain and order-to-cash processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and logistics teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables while providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal resources to keep projects on track.
• Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies where appropriate.
• Contribute to project documentation and change management activities.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience managing EDI implementations or integrations, ideally within supply chain or order management environments.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing workflows.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional project teams and with external vendors.

Nice to Have:

• Spanish language skills.
• General knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP), though ERP is not the primary focus.
• Background in consumer products or other high-volume distribution environments.
